The Magical Amethyst and Jewel garden hydrangeas have sturdy stems so that the flowers stay proudly upright during a heavy rain shower. In a sleek designer garden you could opt for pots with sharp lines and smooth surfaces, whilst a more informal garden can be filled with terracotta or ceramic containers with a bit more texture and detail. Caring for your garden hydrangea

Hydrangeas like regular watering, particularly during hot summers. As long as the soil feels slightly damp, the plant has enough water. To keep your hydrangeas strong and healthy you should also give then plant food regularly during the flowering period. The plants can cope well with winter cold; in the event of frost you could cover the hydrangea with fleece.
